Rain, wonderful rain...... We've been dry for over six weeks. Now we have rain! Finally my lawn will grow again!
Sorry lolly lickers, but we in Orlando need the rain.

OK, but why can't God make it rain only at night, say between 2am and 6am? Night rain is so much more efficient for the lawn and other vegetation - with so little evaporation wastage - and 4 hours of rain at night is more than sufficient. Come day and sunshine and we can enjoy the parks! Please!!

How long is this due to last? We fly out on Thursday and I for one was looking forward to some good old Florida Sunshine.

Diane, you dont usually get much rain in March...........and its warm!
Also tends to be shotr and sharp,not endless drizzle,like we get in the UK
Have a great time!
I woke up this morning, looked out the window and thought I was back in Manchester [msnsad]

My sentiments exactly Nostromo, I always say that, unfortunately its Carla () who continuously does her rain dance at all times of the day & night, its a well known fact amongst us owners that she is the cause of rain in FL ( sorry Carla [}

We were out there last week and planted numerous trees and shrubs. We are very glad there has been some rain. The plants we brought were low maintanence, what we needed were no maintainence plants.
