    Best Days at the parks.

Hi, We are going down March7-12 and are getting the park hopper tickets and Seaworld ticket. Basically, we have Tues- Fri to hit the parks and the other two days are travel. I know I read some where on here the best days to hit each park. ie: Monday is a bad day for MK, etc. Can someone of you experienced disneyer's [msnsmile2]fill me in on how you would structure these days. We have 5 kids going. 5yr, twins 10yrs,a 15yr, and a 17yr. About the bigger kids, we are bringing walkie-talkies, do you think they can go off on thier own? I know I'm such a mom!! Thanks so much! For WDW parks, you have something called EMH days which you should avoid unless you are staying at a Disney Resort. Each park ahs one or more EMH days in the week and you'd be best to either check the earlier thread on EMH days (use the drop down menu to check Pluto's post on page 5) or try the WDW website.

Sea World gets busier towards the end of the week and so you'll be fine there Monday to Thursday.

Walkie talkies are a useful tool, but read the thread about AWOL kids in the parks before you decide whether to allow the kids to go off on their own.

We allowed our kids to go off alone last time we went as a family, it was 6 years ago and they would have been 15 and 17. Funnily enough they preferred to spend most of the time with us, wonder why $$$$$$$
The longest we left them was when they went to Disneyquest and we had a meal in Downtown Disney.

I went on a wed and sat before, did not really see that much difference. maybe it was because of the time of year.

Stay away from Busch Gardens at a weekend though.

Thanks All! I found Pluto's message and the website were so useful. I think the older kids will have to stick to us even though I think they'd do alright on thier own. Plus like E. Cosgrove said "$$$$$$"
W e actually are giving them an allowance so we don't hear, "I want I want..." all day! They decide what they want to spend it on. MY daughter is so cheap she wouldn't even buy an ice cream! She wanted to save it up until her she couldn't carry it over to home. Thanks again everyone!! JAn

I am staying at the Radisson Ressort Parkway. Checking through some of the Disney Sites it is now an 'Official Good Neighbour' Disney Resort Hotel. Reading through Plutos previous thread another hotel off site that is allso a good neighbour hotel gets in early for the hour at the parks. Does anyone know if this is the case with the Radisson where we are staying? Or point me in the direction of finding out.

One thing I found odd in the touring plans website (3rd post above) was the crowd level indicator for the week after Easter. Easter Sunday's level is the max 10 and the week before Easter is generally 5/6/7/8 level. But by the Wednesday after Easter(i.e. 3 days later), the level is down to 3 for a couple of days and then 4 for a few weeks. I know it's not an exact science but I would have thought the week after Easter would be as busy, if not more so, than the week before. I'm there for the weeks either side of Easter (first time to Florida) so I'd love to know if I should leave the best stuff until the second week when it will be quieter. Does this tie in with others' experience? Thanks.
