    Rental strollers in Disney

I have a guest coming who wants to know what the rental strollers are like in Disney - do they have a top on them to shade the baby from the sun? I for the life of me cannot recall as I've never before rented one of these. Also, she was told that you can do a weekly stroller rental - does anybody know the cost? Thanks in advance for any help!

Yes - they have a top to them. I do not know about weekly rentals but they are something like $8 for a single or $15 for a double per day.

I've not come across weekly stroller rental, but have rented one for the day when we have visited any of the theme parks. As far as I can remember they had a top on them, but it has been a few years since I needed one last.

Wouldn't it be cheaper for your guest to buy one if they need it for the week.....From our fav place Walmart ????? If they went on the Walmart website they could compare [msnsmile2][msnsmile2][msnsmile2][msnsmile2]

Yes, the Disney strollers (all with tops) are larger than the "normal" ones you would get a places like Walmart. Although we have a full size stroller at our villa, we usually rent a double while at Disney. The larger size allows our 3 children (7, 6, and 3) to take turns "riding & resting" while we make our way through the large parks.

I just thought if they need one all week, and buy it.They could use it everywhere and not just at the parks. Most of the buggies have some kind of sun-shade on.[msnwink][msnsmile2][msnwink][msnsmile2]

We have 2 strollers at our villa - I just can't remember if either of them has a top on it as I haven't needed to use a stroller for a few years now!! She's actually considering bringing her own, but felt that if Disney was reasonable, she wouldn't bother.
