We like to stop and watch the world go by at the Beverley Hills Boulangerie in Universal Studio's. They do great coffee's and pastries [msnsmile2]

We don't often have a meal at the parks, as we tend to have a big breakfast before we go and that see's us through the day [msnsmile]

In Universal Studios proper, you have Finnegan's Bar & Grill near the New York area. If you like seafood, try the restaurant at Lombard's Landing where you get delicaies like Fisherman's Wharf in SF. There are also self-service areas like International Food Bazaar and Monster's Cafe.

Mythos Restaurant in IoA's Lost Continent is really good. If you like it to be open and informal, try the Thunder Falls Terrace near Jurrassic Park, that offers great views of the park around.

Of course, the City-Walk area has some excellent places for dining out, but these are more suited for a separate evening out. Latin Quarter on a Friday evening/night is absolute tops while Pat O'Brien's has a lively atmosphere and even livelier cocktails. Other great plases here include the Hard Rock Cafe, Jimmy Buffet's Margaritaville and NASCAR Cafe.

Have to agree with Rosie on this one, we tend to have a buffet breakfast before we go to the parks, then only a light snack at lunchtime and wait until evening for a good meal either at the villa or out at a local restaurant.[msnsmile]

HRC is our favourite, but next time we shall try Margaritaville as we had cocktails there with Rosie and Al and the place looked fun for a night time meal out. In the past pre villa purchase, we have used the Croissant Moon bakery..yummy, Green Eggs and Ham cafe...umm!! Mel's diner seems to be popular but it is 12 years since we ate in there so not sure what it is like these days.

Now if we are "parking it" we do what others have mentioned and eat a decent breakfast at home and maybe grab a snack later on or just have our meal at night. It is generally expensive dining (and drinking) in the parks.
