Unless I am missing something I don't they the price differes that much between here and there. Here you can buy online and get them personalized which is neat. Plus no probs with garantees.

I got one for £146 instead of £176 here. Not great deal in monetary value but just over 20% discount is a good deal in my book.
My mini-ipod came from Costco (I think, as a friend got it for me after I talked myself out of not buying one when I was actually there in Nov...doh) but mine's silver. Very nice piece of kit.
I also assume Apple offer a worldwide warranty.

Hi Dorothy
the best place to get your mini Ipod is the Apple store in Mall at Millenia. They have a huge range of colours so I'm sure you will be able to find the pink one you want. As far as cost goes there is very little if any difference between the Apple shop and other shops like Best Buy opposite Florida Mall.
Doz,
I would think seriously about the mini ipod, the regular ones are far better value for money and space, my first ipod was the 5gb and I filled it quite quickly, I now have the 20gb and its much better..... have a look here.....

P.S I got mine from the Apple Store in the Millenia Mall[msnwink]
Depends on your usage.
I think my 2 days of constant music may well be enough for any trip I take...
Also I have someone in the office who has a 20Gb ipod and they are currently using 2Gb so no benefit of the extra 18Gb.
If you want something smaller and lighter that still holds loads of songs then the mini is still the way to go even if the price per Gig is more efficient on the full size ipods.
Having said that I will probably upgrade to a full ipod as this mini was a test to see if I would use it. And I still prefer the finish on the mini so here's hoping the full size ipods take up the brushed metal finish by October...

I know what you mean - I just have so much variety on mine that its almost full!!![msnsmile2]
I think I'd find it hard to fill 20Gb but I have to admit that I will need more than 4Gb at some point.
Having said that I can remember when I thought a 10Gb hard drive in my PC was more than I'd ever need....
If they can package a mini ipod with 10Gb which makes coffee (OK, I'll forego the coffee maker) then that would probably be my ideal product...
Argos have got the Sony one on sale at half price!!
Should be £299 now £149
20gb too

I have the 60Gb Photo Ipod and have all my CD's, all my digital photos and an up to date backup of my PC on it. I use synchronisation software on my PC which automatically updates the iPod with any changes in documents every hour - I would not be without it and would second Lucy's comments about thinking beyond an iPod Mini for this reason alone (I could think of lots of other good reasons too).
Isaac has an iPod Mini and I find it a nightmare as I'm always battling with space issues and having to decide which songs to leave off and which ones to include. With a normal iPod this does not become an issue and you have loads of space to play with [msnsmile]
