Luckily, cider works just as well in front of an open fire on a cold night. Maybe without the ice!
Who am I tryng to kid? I'm very jealous Rose. I'm tired of the cold and rain and want some sunshine.
Woodchuck Cider (available in several different brands) made by the Green Mountain Brewing Company of Vermont is quite popular in the US. It is a regular feature in the Orlando Beer Fesival at City Walk. This year it is going to be in November. Although I have not looked for it (not being a cider person), I am sure Woodchuck Cider is availble in places like Publix & Winn-Dixie.

This thread reminds me of when I was a new drinker and the "in" drink used to be Cider and Babycham. The hardcases drank Brandy and Babycham!! Hey maybe my love of Babysham then was where I get my liking for Bubbles at every opportune moment these days.............HIC!

Woodpecker and Strongbow are both sold at my local Publix in Winter Springs (Seminole County). Interestingly the Woodpecker is bottles by 'Bulmers America' in Vermont. The Strongbow is imported from the UK.
I had to look way back in my fridge and found one bottle of each. Cool, something to drink tonight!
