Surfing at Typhoon Lagoon

I've booked my husband and son to go for early morning surfing lessons at Typhoon Lagoon (they have to be there at 5.45am!!!!). Has anyone ever done this? Do they take photos/video that you can buy? Can spectators come along? Thanks.

I've not heard about this before, but I have to admit that unless it was the first day when you are up with the birds because of the time difference, you wouldn't catch me doing this or balloon riding...I like to wake up slowly around the pool with my coffee. Sounds good fum though, pity they don't do it later e.g. just after the park closes...that I might manage.

Haven't done it but sounds fun, my sons would love it. Knowing Disney they are unlikely to miss a photo taking opportunity.[msnsmile2]

We did it last summer at Cocoa Beach with the same company who teach at Typhoon Lagoon. 5 of us had a Morning's Lesson which was really good value.

However I was completely kn****red at the end of it having to keep "catching the wave" but it was great fun.
