Have to agree chaps - 4 pounds is great as I know I can shift that in a couple of weeks ( she says with optomisum [msnsmile2])

Jet lag is a small price to pay for as many trips across the pond I can manage [msnwink]

    Welcome Gill.

well I'm very pleased to report I lost 2lb. Getting myself back on track.

I did as you suggested Julie and I'm going to follow your running plan.......it looked easier than it actually was[msnembarrased]

    Hello everyone.
    Welcome Gill.
I know I'm not on much at the moment, but I'm not a lapsed slimmer(yet!)

Family and work pressures are making many demands on my time, but it should ease off a little soon.
I'm hoping for a good loss at the end of the week as I've been very good food wise and stuck to the exercise. So much so that I'm going on one of my long walks later this evening with a friend(even though it's miserable and rainy and I'm really tired!)[msncry]

Well done to all the losers, and good luck this week to everyone.[grouphug]

I've been away from the forums for a couple of days as extremley busy at both home and work and just catching up.

As promised I got on the scales yesterday and in the first 2 weeks I have lost 2lb. I know it doesn't sound that much but I was pleased with it as I just want to be sensible and do this gradually - no more yo-you dieting!

Got 4 weeks till we go to Florida so still got fingers crossed that I may get to half a stone before we go!

i am not going to set a target or a total amount of weight that i want to lose, i am going to aim for 1/2 stone each month and take it from there
