Have you tried a home filter? We have a built in ice-maker/water filter in our fridge and we use it all the time. Before we got it, I used to use one of the Brita systems. I don't know whether it really tastes better of if it's in the mind[msnscared]

Although..our tap water is good here.

Buxton the Spa of Blue Waters, in the Derbyshire Peak District. ... only place
where it is possible to see and drink freely of these waters within the town. ...

i live in a hard water area with loads of flouride in the water
everything limes up very easily but water tastes great and makes for very little work for our family dentist
he lives in a soft water area and has told us many times that he takes our tap water home in bottles for his children

i have had a good day you will be so proud of me when i tell you i have drank 6 pints of water
2 with fresh squeezed lemon and four with a tiny splash of low sugar cordial (i coulnd't bear just with lemon, i will try lime tommorow when i go shopping)

food wise i've been a [angel] wholemeal toast and ginger jam for breakfast, syn free spanish omelette with side salad for lunch and teriyaki chicken and veg stir fry for dinner with fruit for snacks and supper[clap][clap][clap]

I feel like I haven't stopped all day.
Been a good girl still cutting down on my coffee intake but I have had a banging headache since I woke this morning, whether it's caffine withdrawal I don't know but I very rarely have them.

I'm trying to think what I've had to eat today and I honestly can't remember, I can remember breakfast and dinner but can't remember tea[msneek]

Welcome to all our new girls and Good Luck.

    Well done Mizzy [clap]

Well done Liesa on your good day - keep it going and don't even think of looking for a nibble [msnwink]

Although I am not in a postion to preach - I have been so good since going back to work, only eaten healthy food, drank lots of water and have been to the gym 3 nights.
I had made great plans for tonight - my salmon and veg were waiting to be cooked and I had planned on 2 wine and sodas in the pub, followed by a diet coke or two [angel]
But then disaster struck [msnoo] my friend rang to say don't have your tea we're going out to eat [msnoo]
So I have just returned from a really naughty night at an Italian restaurant [msnembarrased]
Never mind it should only take 50 mile run and a million sit ups tommorrow to repair the damage [laugh] [laugh] [laugh]

not such a good day as yesterday-but only had 6 chocolates. Normally too many to count.

Had home made soup for lunch, pear for breakfast, half a sandwich about 5pm and salmon and veg for supper-passed on chips and dessert-so could have been much worse.

    Also had plenty of water.

Couldn't remember whatI had for tea yesterday that was because I didn't have any, husband reminded me, just got busy with one thing and another and completely forgot....no wonder I had a headache.

Anyway it's the weekend so hopefully we will all keep on track.

    Have a good day everyone.
