Busy day yesterday-got most of my food shopping done and a couple of last minute presents my mum asked me to choose for her to give to others
    [msneek]

Food was healthy for most of the day(usual porridge, half a wholemeal bagel and salad for lunch, salmon, pasta and steamed veg for tea) but we took the children on a Christmas light spotting ride in the car in the evening. They had travel mugs of hot chocolate and a box of chocs to share and I had too many of those!!!

We had a really nice evening as we ended up at a local park which had done its Tropical House out with a Christmas theme and had a steel band and snow machine! We had a good walk round to look at all the lights, inside and out-very Christmassy[msnsmile]
(Also, when we got home we packed the children off to bed with a dvd whilst we snuggled un the sofa with a bottle of wine and more chocs
    [msnembarrased])
    Oh well-it's Christmas!

    Carole

Off to do exercise penance right now

Well its looks like everyones getting into the christmas spirit what with pizza, baileys, sausage rolls, chinese takeaways, wine and chocs its a wonder the bbc havent signed us up for a "what not to eat" christmas special

in my defence i will say that beansprouts and noodles are free foods on the green plan [msnwink][laugh]

and i think we're all getting lots of walking in ar'nt we girls oh and think of all that weighlifting we're doing carrying all those extra bags of shopping[laugh][laugh][laugh][msnwink]

i have finished my christmas shopping but i may nip into town for an hours peace from the kids and later my darling husband may help me re-discover our sitting room floor, i know its there somewhere
    [msneek]

happy holidays[msnscared] it would be if someone else cleaned the house did the shopping and cooked the food[msnwink] Mizzy

Hello Girls - have not been in much lately due to rushing round like headless chicken trying to get the last of everything done. What with the shopping, wrapping and then there is the washing ironing and packing for my trip to Florida - yippee - I am worn out [msnscared]

Any way at least the exercise must be doing me good because to be honest I have not really been paying attention to the diet this week. However I have weighed myself and the weight has stayed the same. Also had a friend round for luch yesterday who I have not seen in a few weeks and she said I was looking fab in my jeans [msnsmile2] so that has cheered me up. Fraid we had lovely cheese. pate and crusty bread for lunch [msnoo]

I am also gettingready for Xmas Eve as I have a open house and all my neighbours will be coming round for drinks and nibbles. Will have to see what I can do on the sin free snacks front.

Have a great day everyone and try not ot shop toooo hard [xmas2]

Well back from hols and I must say I didn't do too bad, I love the salads and apart from a little hickup involving the sweet trolley at the Gaylords I was quite pleased with myself. Just get through the next fews days , I find it hard to say no to the Terry's chocolate orange segments.
Hope you all have a great Christmas and you know what everyones says- " everything in moderation ! "
I must not eat all the chocolate orange segments

Up at the crack of dawn here - nothing to do with 2 glasses of wine and 2 bacardi and cokes last night and waking up thirsty then[msnwink][msnembarrased]! Still did have steak and salad for supper - we'll just ignore the B&Js fish food ice cream then.

Off to hit the Home Depot to choose some shrubs and then Publix to buy the beef joint. We are attempting puffties (yorkshire puddings) in a muffin tin so this should be interesting. Think YD really wants turkey as she has requested we go to the english shop to buy chipolatas, it will be xmas pud next! Decided we would eat in for xmas lunch rather than buffet at one of the hotels, but my last attempt at roast turkey was not a 100% success due to the gravy tasting odd. DH has taken over the cooking - last night we set the fire alarms off during cooking the steaks on a griddle - decided it was too cool to cook outside in the evening. YOu know what is coming don't you - we had to eat there as racket from alarm was too much! Went off after 3 mouthfuls of food and just as we stood up to move inside started again[msnmad] so we gave up and ate outside - hence copious amounts of alcohol[msntongue]!

Think we should re-name this section What Not to Eat[msnsmile2]. Have a good day everyone[xmas1]!
