Keep at it Liesa and Lucy-you're both doing great. I like the idea of your 2 for 1. I might join you 2 for 1 for 1/2 when I'm back[laugh]

Start very slowly - in fact build up your confidence powerwalking at about 4mph/6kph once you can sustain that start running at a very slightly faster speed than you were walking for 30 seconds then powerwalk again for 1 minute then run for 30 seconds then walk for 1 minute, when you are confident run for 40 seconds and walk for 1 min then run for 50 seconds until you can run for a minute, You can see where im going with this - allow a couple of weeks to get to where you can run for 5 minutes walk for 1 min then increase running to 6, 7, 8 etc etc! Evenually you will be able to run for 30 mins, the 35, 40, etc etc!
Obviously the more you do it the quicker you will get results, if you can aim for 5 times a week.
Let me know if you need any more tips.
Also get a copy of Personal Trainer for women magazine its has lots of brill tips and check out........

If you are trying to run then I would not use the incline at the moment just concentrate on your co-ordination.[msnwink]
Hi everyone
I came across this article the other day on the "Wendie Plan" which gives a perspective on weightloss. I thought it was quite interesting.
