    Ceri, i think a piece of toast is ok, (Lucy might suggest something else) at least its something, dont have to stuff your face but just a little of something YOU like helps!if you look to losing 18lbs that would be about right, just under 1 and a 1/2 stone, i weigh myself with a nighty on and after a wee first thing in the morning and if poss weigh yourself that same time a week later if poss again wear the same thing if you have to do it with clothes on
    (i go to the nurse each week and also same day get on my scales so i know what the difference is)is there not a time in the day when you can prepare something for yourself? worry about the others later, concern yourself with you and your food intake! the others wont starve but us mums must take care of us!!!!!!!!!![msnwink]

    Before I started the diet I couldn't eat first thing, had to be up for about 2 hours then because I was late eating breakfast I didn't want lunch but by 2pm was hungry so snacked on rubbish. Now I have breakfast with the children and am ready for lunch and eat a healthy lunch. Feel so much better for it. I have more energy am sleeping better and thinking about what I am eating and not just eating it.
    I weigh myself the same day and time every week, just have pj's on.
    1 stone 3lb so far but hoping for more on Wednesday.[msntongue]

    Ceri, if you struggle try just having fruit or fruit smoothie or fruit and natural yogurt, beware of MOST cereals they are full of sugar - I know cos hubby used to work for Kelloggs!

    Porridge is the best by far tho!

    did you do it?

    I am going to Florida tomorrow so I have had today off (sorting out building stuff, like waiting for the skip, changing the tiles, completely gutting the bathroom ready for the builder tomorrow.

    but as I started stripping the flowery wallpaper (lovely - we just moved in 3 months ago and there is a lot of work)I decided to start stripping the upstairs landing!! I am so sore from bending down but I think 3 hours is probably better than the gym. So well done me!!!

    I now deserve a drink!!

    Good luck everyone, I will probably not post anything while I am away
