Liesa
Know how you feel Leisa I have a dicky knee and ankle, losing weight will help the problem a lot but the excersise is difficult, I just keep telling myself that if I am eating less and sticking to a lower fat diet it must be doing something. I would just like to know how it can take the best part of 6 to 9 months to lose weight and 3 months to put it all back on.
Lyn
mine would go back on within a week if i let it!!! but am feeling so good, am not going down that road anymore!!!! i dont want to be fat!!!
Liesa
It seems to be coming off my legs and bum, my favourite black trousers are now a bit baggy. Would love to get it off my tummy, I know that means exercises but have to be careful with my back. If I keep losing off my legs and not my tummy I will end up looking like a chicken.[msnscared]
I think we are all doing soooooo well.

Sharon
2lbs off this week down to 15st 8lbs. pleased with that as cheated with an asda chilli pasta bake. been getting sick of the veggie soup!!.
ive been doing some running but got a bit of a back problem at present so will have a swim t'moro.
liesa i also get probs with my knee and groin and etc etc- must be the old age!!.
i dont know what your actual prob is, but i have been taking glucosamine and chrondoitin tablets which have really helped. apparently assist with ligament regeneration.
cycling and swimming also good ,low impact, keeping my weight of my knee, but really find its a case of do nothing and become bloater or push oneself and pop a few brufen the next day.again by building it up slowly, its suprising how far you can get.
keep on keeping on
Trev
Unfortunately Trev, Liesa suffers from arthritis, which although some days you may feel better than others, if you do too much you will end up paying for it.
My mum has suffered chronic athritis for the last 28 years and now that she is in a wheelchair she did put some weight on to begin with because of sitting all the time, she adjusted her diet and has lost quite a bit of weight.
well done everyone, i am on a bit of a diet downer this week but unlike normal, i am trying hard to stick with it, i have been a bit naughty but will persevere!!!
Anita
ah thanks anita. i did wonder about the heated pool.my grandfather in law has had to give up his golf now for the same reason and has put weight on.
oh yes i agree with the changes , having to live without chocolate at the moment!
any way liesa, as has been said you cant really spot treat.rome wasnt built in a day, but whatever your doing its working. when i lost weight before it came off may face and legs first, but youll find you will get there.just keep the good attitude and keep typing[msnsmile2]
Trev
Thanx all!!! arthritis sounds so petty! but its sooooooooooooo painful!! had a terrible night again! so am very tired now, but will go see the Gp today, am very very pleased with my results so far, if you read about all my"naughty" bits you will see i dont go without!! after all i need to live and i think if i dont go without cos i am changing my lifestyle then it shouldnt go back on if i stopped!!!
i have something sweet every day as a treat, whether its a milkyway, or a pack of snack a jacks
well done to everyone!!!!!!
am very proud of hubby Steve he has lost 7lb, i know 1/2 stone doesnt seem a lot to some, but he stopped the beer didnt have much to start with but i and others can notice it already!! am sooooo pleased for him!! and Russ is trying very hard he is tall and not very overweight in my eyes so you cant notice it very much!!! he was a terrible crisps person so he has stopped all the naughty things!!
the summer is just around the corner we will feel so goooooooooooood!!! and the hoildays!! i think i will have trained myself so well that my stomach wont want to pig out!!!
