Well done Paula, keep on going, 3lbs is a great achievement!

Julie assuming this was a green day you could have eaten more carbs at lunch (or later on) - you could have had beans with your salad, or rice or pasta which stops you getting hungry. Also eat more fruit & veg - AT LEAST 5 PORTIONS A DAY! Why did you syn the pots - what sort were they? If it is a red day have more meat. Don't forget you can eat eggs whenever you want - hardboiled ones are a good standby I find when starving! Also when getting towards weigh-in day if I am desperate it's a good egg salad is a good standby.

I have had porridge for brekkies, chicken salad (lettuce, peppers, cucumber, tomato) banana & apple for lunch, 4 rice cakes with soupcon of brie and few baby toms when I got home from work, and for supper spaghetti bolognese - large portion of pasta, small amount of meat & more salad. And tons of water. Not all virtuous though - didn't have the red wine but did succumb to DH's offerings of cadbury's choc'nut[msnembarrased].

Have had no time to cook the curry, so will have to do it tomorrow night, and going to do egg curry (cheapie night) rather than chicken, just got to work the syns out for the paste.

Have a good day tomorrow everyone, hope all the aches and pains are on the mend, and Sheena hope your MIL is ok. Visiting the oldies in the nursing home yesterday was about the most depressing thing I have done in a long time.

    Morning all!
A reasonable weekend for me-I find it really hard to be strict, so pop a few "treats" (syns?) in here and there. Back on track Mon though, with porridge for brekkie, slice of wholemeal bread plus chicken and salad for lunch, fresh tuna steak with Cajun spices and salad for tea. Lots of fruit as snacks over the day and a diet yoghurt.

Glad to see that most are over their illnesses, but a
[grouphug] for those who still have aches and pains etc!

Sheena-I really feel for you. I spent a lot of yesterday with my mum who's in her eighties. We have a lot of "family issues" going on right now and it's causing her lots of unnecessary heartache. I'm really annoyed with certain family members right now who seem to think it's a great idea to stand up for their "principles" against an 85 year old!!!!!!

very good!! very pleased for you!! dont think it will be me this week!!!but i have been more busier then i was a month ago so the weight gain does seem a bit unfair, as i havent been scoffing at dads as much in fact nowhere near as much as 2 months ago all the decorating i/we have been doing at Russ's flat, shouldve compensated for it!!
