Im been sooooo good and I really hope I get rewarded with a good result on the scales on Monday[msnwink]
Its a great idea this OV Slimming Club .I go to Florida on June 22 and I really need to lose 2 stone before then.When I look at pictures of me in Florida in03 and 04 I cringe .This year I want to enjoy having my picture taken with the rest of the family.This year two cousins who live in New York are joining us in Florida for the July 4 celebrations.That willadd to the fun but I really want to look well. The good news is Idecided to use Lent to kind of detox Ihave given up wine and I love my glass of wine,and Icut out buyingbiscuits,cakes and allgoodies with the weekly shopping and bought lots of fruit instead Having the support of other likeminded people is great . My best friend is going to Australia for a months holiday and is insisting we go out tomorrow night to our favourite Indian restaurant,she has no sympathy for me because she is perfect size 10. My lenten detox will certainly be challanged![?][lucky]

Yesterday I brought myself a pair of croppped trousers but got a pair a size too small so I am aiming to get into those before long[msnscared].

True friends would support you!
Why not use lent as the kick start but adopt the lifestyle not a diet, you will find you will stick to it better. You have just over 4 months which is 17 weeks, so if you aim for 2 lbs a week even allowing for the odd hiccup you should be able to lose 2 stone!
If you are going out for Indian stick to tomato based curry like rogan josh or balti and go for tikka starters, avoid the naan breads etc.

Could you not go to another restaurant, unfortunately Indian food is the worst!!! most of the dishes are 40% fat!!!! I second Lucy though a tikka is the best alternative, failing that, go - enjoy it and straight back on your regime the next day

today i wore a denim skirt that was a tiny bit tight on my thighs before changing my eating habits!!!!, it looked ok but it was a little bit uncomfortable!!. Today i have had it on all day and feel good in it!!the waist is a bit big (i am an odd ball shape!!) but not for much longer!!!the skirt is a 22, but so big around my waist!!! i need to be able to do something with my bum and thighs!!! any ideas please????????????????????? but do have to consider the knee!!! v painful!!!.
i am feeling the 1 stone off now!! and am very pleased with myself!!!
i decided to write this bit of useless info, as i am waiting for my jacket potatoes to cook!! have picked on 3 tiny clemantines!! they smell gorgeous!! i love them with natural cottage chees and freshly chopped chives!!!
