OB I need to know which brand, and what it is - mars bar etc. Can't find my handbook, think I left it at work as that has quick list at the back - Mizzie do you know?

    Hi
i've been de-junking my wardrobe today so i haven't been able to get online until now

OB slimming world has a section where you can check syn values or calculate them if you have the packaging this section is normally open to members only but if you type in the group password which for this week is "sweetcorn" it will allow you access to these pages
you will have to register first then click on "lifeline online" group members

    hope this helps Mizzy[msnsmile2]

    and especially for Twiglet

Slimming World is a fantastic food plan because it encourages you to make the right choices and to never go hungry it has been around in the uk for well over 10 years (WW recently adapted part of SW food plan and called it "no count" but it's basically the SW system apart from a few minor differences)

i lost 2 1/2 stone with them approx 2 years ago however i let things slide when my son was diagnosed with the same disability as my daughter and i comfort ate to hide my unhappiness

i have been to WW a long time ago and i was always hungry so for me it was impossible to maintain

this is a very basic run down of the SW food plan

to start you can eat unlimited fresh fruit and vegetables* excluding potatoes, parsnip, peas and sweetcorn

on a red day you choose to eat meat and fish and as long as it it cooked without added fat and you trim off excess fat you can eat as much as you need to satisfy your appetite

on a green day all of the vegetables are free inc the ones excluded above* and you can eat unlimited pasta, rice, cous cous, quorn

eggs are ok on both days

then you add 3 healthy extras which have a weighed and measured amount on either day this would be foods like milk bread cheese cereal
on red days you can choose a measured qty of pasta rice potatoes etc as a healty extra and on green days you can choose a measured qty of meat, fish and so on as a healthy extra

you then have between 10-15 syns a day to spend on those little extras such as chocolate wine crisps etc

sounds complicated but it is very easy and everday meals are easy to fit in with the plan because its basically common sense

eat healthy fresh food to satisfy your appetite and limit the processed ones[msnsmile2]

    Hello Ladies [msnsmile2]

Well I am back from Florida as of yesterday and my jet lag has not quite caught up with me yet.

I have had a fantastic 3 weeks when I have eaten what ever I felt like and had a wonderful time with the family in our villa. to say I did not want to come back would be an understatement.

Tomorrow I will weigh in and see what the damage is. What ever the outcome I will have no regrets as I enjoyed every meal out [msnsmile2]

So as of Monday it will be back on the straight and narrow. [angel] My brother is getting married April 22nd and I must look fab in the photos [msnwink]
