Liesa, I think you have done really well today and just by moving, be it walking, decorating or any form of exercise is a good thing, I get aching joints but I just have to keep going.

I think one thing that would really help you and benefit the rest of the family is to not have any sweets, chocs, crisps or anything bad in the house at all!!!

If you want to treat the children or anyone else do it when you are out and buy, for example 1 packet of sweets for Lauren to eat there and then. If you can get the whole family to eat the same meals as you it will not only help you but will have a knock on affect with the children and grand children if you get my drift[msnwink]

Just keep at it OK and you will succeed[clap][clap]

Welcome Janice & Janny, cannot believe what I was reading Janny, no way did you look as if you had gone up in size when I saw you in November, and all that running you do, gosh is there no hope for the rest of us!

Had an enforced good day as had to shoot to work with no breakfast and just grabbed bulghar wheat, cottage cheese, spring onion, 1 tomato and an apple. No Lady Grey tea there either, so was on hot water with lemon.[angel][angel]

Chilli for supper - lots of rice and salad and small portion of mince, so think I can treat myself to a glass of red wine.

ED got back from CBB at 1.30am and was absolutely exhausted. She has been taken off the 4.30am start, but is now working 930 - 6.00. They have loads of students etc as runners / helpers and the only ones not being paid are the Art Dept ones (her lot)[msnmad]. Think she is quickly learning that tv is not as glam as she thought - could have told her that as I worked for the BBC before I had the children! Seems to have pushed her back into teaching Art & Design, but we shall see!

Weekend ahead, always a difficult one, lots of drinking water etc peeps, let's be good, and if you can't be good, be careful!
    Fiona

Thanks Fiona I can't believe it either as I say I think it may be to do with my age and hormones .
I did go to the doctors when I had my frozen shoulder last year and he asked about any side effects of menopause and I said about weight gain so he gave me lots of tests but all were negative
and when I happened to say I see my mother everytime I look in the mirror he just grinned as if to say its in the genes!
I am determined to lose this extra weight so I can at least wear the clothes I have in my wardrobe.

Welcome to all of you new girls, and well done to all you losers.[msnsmile2](especially Mach, well done Julie!)

Thank God it's the weekend. A large Glass or two of Splosh tonight I think and a good run in the morning is my only plan so far.

Have a nice weekend everyone, don't go mad.[msnwink]

    Welcome our new members!

It's nice to see that things are hotting up in the slimming club. Hopefully we can all motivate one another.

    WELL DONE JULIE-4LBS!!!

I feel I've had a really good week. No cheating. Healthy eating and lots of exercise.
I got weighed yesterday for the first time in weeks and was 5lb heavier than early December. [msnsad]
Bearing in mind I could have lost a couple of pounds already this week, it is not good news. However, I am absolutely determined to lose it and a bit more. Although I've had 1/2 Pizza Express pizza for tea with salad(it is Friday!)the rest of the day has been good, with porridge for breakfast, banana, orange and apple for lunch and snacks of yoghurt and MORE fruit. So far, I don't want to "cheat"(which is unusual for me) so I'm hoping I can
    keep this up.

Hope everyone has a good weekend.

    Carole

I should have, I buy Buxton in 5 litre bottles[msnwink]

When I lived in the South I loved tap water but since I moved up North to a soft water area I hate it so hence I buy bottled[msnwink]
