Go Mizzy!!!
A reasonable day for me today, after a relatively "bad" weekend which included a dinner party on Saturday!
Back on the treadmill for 40 mins this morning. Porridge for breakfast and lunch. Made home-made pizza for tea(extremely thin crust) with lots of healthy vegetables. Only thing is, I forgot to oil the baking sheet and it all stuck like glue[msncry].
Anyway.. the topping was tasty[msnscared]
Youngest daughter presented me with a big bar of Galaxy she bought for me whilst shopping with her Grandma. I have resisted so far and intend to share it with the children another night[angel]
....at least I think I will[msnwink]
Carole
ooh Galaxy[msntongue]
Anyway lets have a good day again you guys!!!
I had a piece of wholemeal toast at about 9 oclock last night still within my allowance and it was yummy!!![msnwink]
Last day at work for me today - well thats if 4 y/o is well enough to go to school[msnscared] Then I am off until Jan 8th[clap][clap][clap]

peppermint creams recipes for the kids to make
had a couple of requests so thought i would post for anyone,
350g icing sugar sifted
a few drops of peppermint essence or oil
a few drops of green food colouring
2 tabspns of water
silver balls to decorate
1 med bowl
a sieve
a wooden spoon
a fork
put water peppermint ess, and food colouring into a med bowl, add half of the icing sugar and mix with wooden spoon, stir in more icing sugar and continue mixing, when the mixture is all gathered together roll into small balls, or flatten, we dipped half of the sweet into melted choc and put in fridge for a couple of hours to harden, they lovely!!
decorate with silver balls etc, if you go onto cbeebies they give you some sweet wrappers to make!! the kids can colour in and pop sweet into and hey presto
not for us to eat girls and boys!! for the kids to make!!!
Liesa
Yeah Liesa i beleive you thousands wouldnt[msnwink]
i've made lods with the kids and have never got past that "not for us" stage in baking
last year i made lovely mini filo mince pies and christmas muffins and i am pretty certain that a lot of them jumped into my mouth[msneek]they seem to call out for me to eat them
this year i have made some cherry fudge with my eldest daughter so she can give it to the teacher and her class support but we boxed it up as quick as we could so it couldn't call my name
