There is a fabulous butcher in Grange over Sands in The Lakes who does THE most fantastic turkey and cranberry pies. Don't normally like pies but the ones in this butchers are sooooooooooooo scrummy, he does another turkey one too which instead of having a pastry crust on the top it has stuffing.

Paula i have just ordered a pork,turkey stuffing pie that is topped with cranberries its a party sized pie so i am hoping it goes down well on christmas eve or else i'll be eating the leftovers for days and then i'll have to go stand in the corner[msneek]

i'm still be good today ,so far[msntongue] but reading this forum makes me hungry

Honestly you lot!! I have managed to keep the flag flying as had omelette for brekkies, am planning jacket pot for lunch and stir fry with prawns for supper. OK, have to admit we hit Jimmy Buffets last night - are you impressed I had chicken caesar salad! Had to make up for the nachos
