Well, just weighed myself and can't belive it.
I've lost 4lbs
Now I must try to be reasonably good over Christmas so I don't blow all the good work.

Scouse is similar to Irish Stew and pot roast. I am ashamed I just did a search on google to find out where it origianted. I thought it would be from our Irish ancestors but I was wrong it was brought to our city by Eastern European sailers.
It also named other Liverpool dishes including Butties, the more famous Liverpool ones being sugar butties and conny onny butties (condensed milk)[sick][sick][sick],now I've livedhere all my life and never tried either ofthese. I do quiet enjoy a banana butty from time to time.

Scouse is delicious, it was mainly done with mutton, but nowadays lamb. Few carrots, diced spuds, whatever comes to hand.
Now I've done sugar and connie onnie butties when I was a little 'un Paula, but your chip butty is king in my view.

Only if it's chippy chips, not oven ones and it would have to have loads of salt and vinegar on, although I hate vinegar on a meal I do love it on chippy chips. Oh I'm starving now just thinking of it and I'm very sorry Julie(Mach 2) satsumas just don't have the same appeal
