Hi Chloe
We went to Lake Toho, and yes it is fantastic, just so much going on. You have to be taken in by bus from other parking areas. We had to park at Albertsons. Buses going in were very prompt and very well policed. However we did stay until after the firework display and when we returned to pick up the bus back to Albertsons, we queued for over an hour and a half. It was a warm evening and we didnt mind, but we were all very tired by then.

Word of warning re. Celebration on 4th. July - Get there early.
We left it until last minute, last year and gave up due to the traffic congestion.

We are also in Florida for 4 July this year. I knew it would be busy so we have booked to go to Discovery Cove during the day and have decided to have a barbeque at the villa in the evening.
Don't fancy trying to get somewhere and being stuck in traffic.

We do avoid bank hols here. But never having been in Florida on the 4th before, feel that we should experience something with a 'local' feel. Looking forward to it even now!! Chloe
