    Hi Tyson,

We usually go in May and Sept/Oct each year, mainly because I like the weather at both of those times of year - very similar temperatures(around mid 80s normally) and humidity is normally not too bad. Of course nobody can guarantee anything where the weather is concerned , but generally
it's great both of those months. Parks are not too busy if you can avoid the school hols.

You've answered your own question on the other post, September may bring more chance of your holiday being affected by hurricane weather, although last years was particularly extreme. We have never had any of our trips affected before last year.
May is more settled generally but may be a more difficult time to take the children out of school if they are at an age where they are doing sats etc.

Instead of May proper, it will be even better between, say 20th April and 15th May. The risk of rain and heavier crowds in the second half of May is one consideration.

We went to Florida in September to close on our first villa, the weather was absolutely glorious the whole time we were there, not a drop of rain. Only trouble was we spent most of the time in Home Depot and furniture shops Just wish we could go at the time of the year now and take advantage of the great flight deals that can be had for travelling after the school holidays, not to mention no queues/lines for the rides in the parks!

I can echo that sentiment Caroline. The sun was cracking the pavement last Sunday as we walked out of Walmart with our THIRD trolleyful[msneek]<blockquote id="quote" class="ffs">quote:Originally posted by caroline

We like May too but we also like the last two weeks in August, though I think May would get the vote.[msncool]
