    Luggage Allowance

It is worth remembering that if you have paid for a child seat then they are usually entitled to the same luggage allowance as an adult. Check with your airline. This could prove very useful for the return journeys in particular. We normally take a suitcase inside a suitcase for the outbound journey, then we have plenty of space for our purchases, always mindful of the duty free allowance though.

I also do the same, as when i go my cases are empty. But plenty of shopping in Florida. I believe each luggage can weigh no more then 25 kilos 50lbs.

The weight may be different according to airline, Virgin is 2 pieces each weighing up to 32KG per person. the total outer dimension must not be more than something like 62" otherwise it is classed as oversized.
