    Problems accessing forum

At the moment I can't get onto the forum using my regular ISP Tesco. However if I connect using my UK online pay as you go I can get on the forum with no problems. Could this be a speed of connection problem or does anyone have any other suggestions please[msnscared]

Difficult to be too specific, because you didn't say what browser you are using or what the error condition was?.
If your ISP has some links down then that would block you but since ISP's tend to have multiple routes it is very rare that you get blocked. I'm assuming the ISP did have a service so you could get to Google?

Otherwise you need to call your ISP Help Desk and report the error and see if they can access the forum. A simple answer would be try it again they may just have had an outage?

When you say you are having problems with Tesco can you elaborate? What happens and what is not working?

When I use UKonline I get straight onto the forum. When I use Tesco it takes ages and then I get the following error message:

    [The page cannot be displayed
The page you are looking for is currently unavailable. The Web site might be experiencing technical difficulties, or you may need to adjust your browser settings.

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    Please try the following:

Click the Refresh button, or try again later.

If you typed the page address in the Address bar, make sure that it is spelled correctly.

To check your connection settings, click the Tools menu, and then click Internet Options. On the Connections tab, click Settings. The settings should match those provided by your local area network (LAN) administrator or Internet service provider (ISP).
See if your Internet connection settings are being detected. You can set Microsoft Windows to examine your network and automatically discover network connection settings (if your network administrator has enabled this setting).
Click the Tools menu, and then click Internet Options.
On the Connections tab, click LAN Settings.
Select Automatically detect settings, and then click OK.
Some sites require 128-bit connection security. Click the Help menu and then click About Internet Explorer to determine what strength security you have installed.
If you are trying to reach a secure site, make sure your Security settings can support it. Click the Tools menu, and then click Internet Options. On the Advanced tab, scroll to the Security section and check settings for SSL 2.0, SSL 3.0, TLS 1.0, PCT 1.0.
Click the Back button to try another link.

    Hi,

That sounds like a problem with the Tesco Routers, I would leave it an hour or 2 and then try again.

It sounds like Tesco's DNS servers are habing problems.

In the first instance I would speak to Tesco tech support and tell them they have a DNS resolution problem with the domain www.orlando-guide.info and what do you need to do to get it resolved.

Ruth, you still have not told us iff you can access any site via Tesco; such as google??

If you can then it is possible you could fix this by erasing your cache and temp internet files, some times IE gets fixed on a path that it thinks is unavailable; clearing the cache may fix it. In IE: tools, Internet settings, gereral:-
delete cookies, delete (temp internet) files then clear history.

If you can not access anywhere from tesco tell us..
