Go for it Liesa - Sarah was really worried about driving in the USA but plucked up the courage to try it and then was wondering why she was so worried. She thinks it's a lot easier than driving in the UK and driving on the right is very natural if you are right handed.

I thought I was the only one that didn't have a go at driving while in Florida. I leave it all to my husband. [msnembarrased]
Maybe next time I will have a go. Although I said that last time.[msnwink]

I've always driven in Florida and never found a problem - in fact, I think it's probably easier than driving in the UK. With an automatic car, all you have to concentrate on is steering and staying on the right side of the road is pretty easy too.

if i tell Steve that i am considering....only considering driving a bit in florida, i will never hear the last of it, so wont say to much about it, but after reading lots of positive comments on here i think i will go on the insurance this time, and have a bit of a drive, build my confidence up, i will be able to drive up and call for Lynne (jadehouse) i think they also had a drive last time we were all out there and they said it was no where near as bad as they first thought! yep gonna do that............
sorry that we have gone off topic a bit.......[msnembarrased]

I may stay home that day!!

Oh, no John - did you say 'driving on the right is very natural if you are right handed'?

Guess what - I'm left handed!

So when I get going, you'd all better keep out of the way!
