I was hoping to do the Cape Canaveral Then and Now tour, but it wasn't running because there was a rocket on one of the cape canaveral rocket pads and the tour would breach the minimum safe distance.
I was also hoping to see the launch but it was scrubbed just a few hours before it was due to go.
So here are a few snaps of usual views of Kennedy. It's a really beautiful place when you stop to look at it. The last photo I think is one of the best from the whole trip. It is destined to be printed and framed for one of my walls back home. I've attached it here the right way up but haven't yet decided if it looks better when it's rotated ... or not.
Great photo's Steve.
The 5th one reminded me of the guy who sold the kettle on e-bay[msnwink]

I've got a pic somewhere of the loo in the space station as demoed at KSC. I always wondered what the astronauts did for.......especially with all the recent allegations about overeating!
Ah here it is...

Darren, what exactly is in the second photo? (Looks like an 'after' pic of something!)
Nostromo
It is a picture of one of the space shuttle engines, I expected it to be much, much larger than this, but apparantly that is the full size version.[8D]
