Really think it depends on Age doesn't it? I know if I said to my 12 year old, Full on Xmas here, or go to Florida for Xmas, she really wouldn't be thinking of presents round a tree in Florida!!! I think I would go for the main stuff here, and then I would make it a different day altogether while out there. Don't think I would stress myself trying to re-create the whole day out there! Perhaps make it a treasure hunt experience?
