There have been quite a few posts recently regarding DVDs from various regions. I have been buying DVDs from all over the world for some years now. Cost considerations apart, I like to find out if a particular film is better (or worse) in any specific region. Generally, it is the same for all regions, but you do get situations where some films are cut or otherwise edited in some countries. For example, Staley Kubrick's 'Eyes Wide Shut' is heavily digitally censored (without actual cutting) for Region 1 DVDs while R2 and R4 are uncensored versions.
