Sometime when the postie delivers you get a customs charge which he will demand.
Usually when you order the DVD's it will let you know if you may get the charge.

I have been ordering DVDs from Play sites for 5 years now, including over 200 Region 1 DVDs in packages of all sizes. I have never been asked for customs or any other extra charge.

Some of the newer DVD titles now have different protection mechanisms in them, so they may not work if they are not played in the correct region.

If you're referring to the RCE system, it is theoretically true, but both our DVD players play these DVDs without problems. A lot of my friends also agree that they have never had problems playing R1 DVDs with RCE coding.

Having said that, if you get an R1-RCE DVD from Playusa and find that your player does not accept it, they will not take it back. If in doubt, go for the R2 DVD from its sister www.play.com site. These days, most popular movies are released almost at the same time on R1 & R2.

There is so much internet competition now for dvds

We used to only use one called dvdboxoffice based in Cananda

But now, we use play, sendit and also cdwow and dvdboxoffice.

    Fantastic variety!!

    and GOOD VALUE!

DVDsoon are a good Canadian web site. We normally buy our Disney DVD's from them.
