    Villa Xmas Decorations?

We are off to orlando on 23rd, staying in a villa. Do villa owners normally get MC to put a tree or any xmas decorations in villas, we don't arrive until evening of 23rd and will have to rush out to buy tree etc.

Different owners do different things basically. Some will automatically put a tree up but others will not in case their guests have religious objections etc. We have also had guests who have gone to Florida after personal tragedies who have said they want to get away from Christmas altogether.
Do you know where you are staying? Can you ask the owner direct?

Steph is right... it does vary from owner to owner, but most importantly it should always be the guest who has the final say in whether they want any decorations that the owner may be able to supply.

If you are on an Allocation Upon Arrival package deal, it will be nigh on impossible to establish if there are going to be decorations, as the company your package is through wont know where they are placing you until you arrive.

If you have booked direct with an owner, say through any of the Orlando Villas sites for example, you can simply call the owner and ask. They will be delighted to assist you I'm sure

I think most of us owners have a tree but in the end it is up to the guest whether they want it put out or not as it is their holiday after all. This ability to make sure you have the stuff you would like is one of the advantages of booking direct with the owner of a villa.

    Have a Great Trip anyhow[xmas2]

Thanks for the info everyone. As the villa owners live here in UK, and it is a brand new villa, the last time they came out was in September to furnish it. They forgot about a tree. I am sure we will be able to buy a tree from a store when we arrive on the Thursday evening, ready for Xmas Eve. (Although, I did think maybe the rental management company could provide it on behalf of the client). I am sure that we will have a lovely first time christmas in Orlando!!

Have a wonderful Christmas and a Happy New Year. Take a drive around Celebration and view the lights there, they are fabulous.[msnsmile2]
