    Problems with OV

Is anyone else having problems getting OV forums up, we keep getting page is unavailable. Nothing wrong with our server as we can get all other web pages.

It keeps working every now and again, hence why I am able to post this.

It has been consistently good for us here in Florida and Roger has not mentioned having any problems. I've just checked the webserver and no reported problems there either.

John and Roger will put me right but I think it is a server used by some ISPs that preloads anticipated pages to speed up browsing. Since I turned the option to use it off, pages have loaded without problem.

That's along the right lines Martin. A web proxy server saves copies of pages each user goes to and when another user goes to that page, it can serve up the copy it has rather than the exact page itself.
