you wouldn't have that number would you Nostromo-it might be useful. Once an unmanned toll was jammed and we had to drive on.

Unfortunately no. I was in bit of a state when we arrived at the villa, knowing that the police camera had clicked on me. But the Caretaker lady soon reassured me and gave me the relevant number to call. That was that.

so who would we contact then if we are naughty and have to go through for whatever reason? and would we be likely to get into any bother?

Or 75 cents if you throw the first 25 cents on the floor like I did[msnsad] Couldn't aim properly with my left hand and didn't dare get out of the car as I had a line behind me!![msneek]<blockquote id="quote" class="ffs">quote:Originally posted by Newhomebuyer
If you are going on the 417, it is a dollar for each of the first 2 (manned) and 50cents for the last one (unmanned)

I'd not worry that much....that is always happening to us......the one I hate is when the money goes into the basket.....but does not show that it has...we put in an extra 50 cents once and still it only showed 75 cents paid.....

All tolls on the Greeneway(417)are manned. There are 4 or 5 on the 417 exit and entry ramps which are unmanned.
I have been told that normally you get two warnings before action is taken. In the case of visitors in rental vehicles, drivers details are obtained from the rental car company. In September the tolls from Sanford to the I-4 cost $7.
I think there are 2 tolls on the Beeline from MCO to I-4.

Why don't they fit ALL rental cars with those electronic 'eyes' that taxis have for toll booths? That way, the visitors do not have to bother paying toll each time they go through. Later, the rental company can obtain a record of the toll owed by a hirer when he/she returns the car and then charge the Card on record?
