A 6.8 litre engine !!!! There are ships with engines smaller than that!
Nice touch that they put a special bar on the front of it to stop 'smaller' vehicles going under the front in the event of a collision.
I wonder if they have a warning light on the dash in case you accidently drive over something small and don't notice it.
The US Government has just ordered Dodge to recall all Durangos because the front ball joint isn't strong enough.
Front wheels have been falling off at high speeds!

I saw that on the news a week or so ago Jeff. It did make me wonder. The one I had was brand new too. It only had about 400 miles on the clock when I picked it up, but substantially more when I dropped it off. Muahahaha. Wouldn't it have been just great to loose one of the front wheels up in the snow on Mt Charleston. [msneek]
Durangos are the same price as a G Cherokee at Dollar... The engine is in fact a small block.
Chrysler / Mopar have been using these engines for years... They are VERY de tuned!
Now for some real fun... Get a Chrysler 300C Hemi wagon!
My Dodge has the big block 7.3 Litre engine, and is VERY tuned.. 0-60 in under 3 seconds. I would not recommend using it on your hols though!
