    Driving Directions

Quickest and most traffic free route to Formosa Gardens Boulevard from the SR417 Greeneway?

    1. Use Bee-Line SR528 to I-4 and then US192

    2. Exit SR417 at Junction 6 International Drive and head along 536 to I-4 and then 192

    3. Stay on SR417 until Junction 2 Celebration and turn right onto Celebration Avenue to the 192

Depends on the time of day, I would use route 1.

Mid afternoon between 2 and 4 and the starting point is Sanford.

Is the I-4 not busy at all times?

We always use the 417 as we find the I-4 is so blocked. The 417 is just such an easy route which is never jammed - the couple of dollars we spend in tolls is well worth the time it saves.

There is yet another option. Very similar to your Option 3, but I would leave SR417 at Exit 3 and go West on the Osceola Parkway till you turn left into Sherberth Road, which soon joins US192 very close to Formosa Gardens. I would prefer this because you have to drive less on US192 and Osceola Parkway is less crowded and quicker (fewer lights) then US192.

Had a quick look and think i might get a bit lost as this route takes you right into Animal Kingdom according to the map.

Not really. Osceola Parkway goes straight towards AK and AK Lodge. As you near them, you just keep to the left lane heading towatds AK Lodge. Then at the last set of Traffic Lights (the junction with Sherberth Road), you'll turn left into Sherberth and that's it. It is very easy and we always use this route. Try it once and you'll see for yourself how much quicker it is than driving for so long on the US192.

    Thanks for being so specific.
I'll probably try it once i'm settled in, but probably stick to the 192 on arrival as it's a road i know well.
Sherberth road is listed as being an I-4, Disney etc shortcut on the us 192 website guide map.
