Mama Melrose is Italian and Brown Derby $$$$ with more of a fine dining atmosphere. I think the best bet with a familly is is Hollywood and Vine. The meal is a buffet with plenty of variety for every appetite and an excellent ice cream bar for young children.

We did the dinner package at Brown Derby first time we went & I have to agree, the food was excellent but not cheap so it depends what you're afater & what the kids like.

we've been to the Brown Derby and Hollywood & Vine and would recommend the Hollywood & Vine if you have children. The food in the BD was very nice but also very expensive and the portions were not big. If they had not given us a basket of bread with the meal we would have all been starving after it. Whereas the H&V was buffet style with very good quality food and the soft drinks were included in the price.

It is the night show at MGM Kaz, fireworks ans special effects, it is absolutely fantastic and well worth the long wait you need if you are going to secure a seat.

You don't need a separate ticket but you do need to book if you want the dinner package which eases the queing problem.
The start time varies at different times of the year and busy nights when there are 2 performances.

Excuse my ignorance here but do you have to book a dinner package or can you just stay and watch. Sorry - I'm a bit of a lame brain today. Thanks.[msnsmile]
