You would be better off checking back as often as possible, as passengers may change their own seating and you could end up with what you want.

Apart from that, arrive at the airport early with your paperwork and explain to the clerk about the mix up with your seats!

Hopefully they will be able to sort you out!

We have also requested special meals for the twins, so we will have to see what happens about this!!

    Hopefully things will pan out!!

I booked my Virgin Flights through Charter Travel. I then telephone Virgin and booked the seats that I wanted - they don't charge for this.

I logged into the Flying Club section of Virgin's website and was able to specify a window or aisle preference for our flights in December but could not find a way of choosing the actual seats.

We were able to choose our Club Orlando seats for our 3 night trip at the end of this month but this was over the phone with them.

Not sure if it makes a difference if you have a Frequent Flyer number!!

If you have a FF Membership try it that way, I logged in first, then went onto update booking (Bottom Right)
Enter your booking reference, Name and flight number from the list and the date you fly
When your flight details come up, scroll to the bottom of the screen and click the edit button!
You should then see you 2 flights
    Outbound and inbound
Click on the seat map and it then gives you a map of the seats etc.

Seats in red are available, GREY are taken, Purple are your current ones.
All you do then, is click in the red seats that you want.
Do this for all your passengers
    Then click submit
Don't hang around. Remember others may be doing the same as you!

Then do the same for your inbound flight!!

    That should be it!!

we have never been able to do this. Once booked you can ring them on the 747747 number and request the seat.

    Good luck

Are you members of the flying club??

Like I said, I am not sure if you have to be a member to be able to change your seats etc.

    https://www.virgin-atlantic.com/en/g...nnow/index.jsp

Its free to join, you don't have to have a flight booked to join!!

You can claim your miles back upto 6 months after your flight.

So if you have booked through the link about, you can add it to your membership once you have returned.

Have you spoken to Charter Travel to get your booking number. I had a problem first off when Virgin said we weren't on their system. After a bit of perseverance I phoned them again with the booking number and we were on their system!! I then booked the seats that I wanted with no problem.

We fly next June and you are now able to book the seats 330 (or thereabouts) days prior to travel unlike the 180 days that it used to be.

I am a member of flying club but I cannot change seats online it says this is only available if you have booked direct through Virgin, this will be available later for those who booked through travel agents. Again the question remains is the difference where you are flying from? or even what category? I fly from Gatwick and fly Economy.
