Am I hearing right that the minimum investment limit for an E2 Visa purchase has now been raised to $150,000 from the previous $100,000. I heard this is the new limit for the next fiscal year and they have made tighter restrictions and will look at the situation again next year with regard to upping the limit possibly again.
As far as I am aware, there's no specified limit for investment for an E2, the only criteria being that it must be 'substantial' and provide enough income.
Where did you hear this info?

From two realtors and an immigration attorney who said that although there isn't a specific limit before they wouldn't really consider under $100k and now its been raised to $150k for the new fiscal year apparently.
I always count my fingers after I shake hand with US Realtors and Lawyers.
