The huge tree goes up and all the lighta and decorations. Santa and Mrs Christmas take up residence in their little grotto near the lake. The little train and sleigh ( horse and carriage actually) rides start running weekend nights. Carol singers in Viotorian cosrume in the build up to Xmas. More on weekends than weeknights though it snows every night.

It's true about the pets pictures wit Santa, happened to be the night we visited last year, I couldn't believe all the people queing up with their dogs (most were no bigger than rats) to have their photo's taken. You have to see it to believe it.
The same evening, there was a live nativity taking place at the church opposite the car parks. They even had a camel, along with the sheep and donkey!
