I flew with Britania in May 2003 and hated it. Staff never spoke to us the whole flight and every time they went down the ailse (even with trolleys) we got either kicked or bashed. Elbows everything and not one single Sorry was said. I'll never travel with them again.

I flew with Thomson in October, wasn't a DC10 or Jumbo but was OK, seating arrangement was 2 4 2. We payed for our meals but I did notice that evryone got one and I'm sure somepeople probably didn't bother paying. Probably worth taking some drink on board with you though. Flight was OK as charters go.

just flown with Brittannia , just my opinion but I'm not impressed. If I had the flights at a good price then i wouldn't have a problem. Firstly I paid £2200 for flights only(2 ad 2 chld, they were the only ones who had availability for the dates) because it was Thompsons's i thought at least it would be worthwhile.

    9and a half hour flight from Manchester[msnsad]

everything was extra.. food, earphones, drinks, fuel (ok i made that bit up)[msnsad]

    15 kg luggage allowance[msnsad]

    I'm not exactly tall,but I have never been so cramped on a plane, i couldn't open the table properly[msnsad] (I don't mean I didn't know how to[msnsmile])

i felt I was on a budget airline, without paying budget prices . you don't always get what you pay for.

Have flown to Florida with both and prefer Mytravel.

Both use either 767 or airbus.

Found there to be more room on the Mytravel flight as the plane we had in both directions was a Canadian Mytravel plane and had loads of room.

Ujpest Doza - see those 767 or airbus from MYTRAVEL. Do you know if they have the televisions on the seat in front or up above. Thanks.

Last time i went with Mytravel the tv wasn't in the seat in front, it was up above.

I travelled with Thomas Cook Airlines this year and the TV's were in the seat in front.

When we flew mytravel we did pay for the meal but had to fight for it as they said we were not on their list for seat numbers who had paid for them.

If you're looking to fly with MyTravel, get a price via Direct Holidays. That's their "Cut out the Middleman" Brand, but still part of Mytravel. We booked with them for our holidays in September, meals are included with them, you don't have to pay any extra, plus there prices were good too.

As for the flight, it was great for us, direct, no delays going or coming back, the food was OK but not something you'd want to pay £15 for!

Its a long time to go without food (i know you can take sarnies but thats a clart). I would pay it and it is normal for a tod fee at 14 days notice as they usually send charter tickets out to clients between 4 weeks and 2 weeks prior to departure.
