We have just got the official line on this. You have to call a freephone number and the Dollar bus will come out and pick you up from various Kissimmee hotel locations but not anywhere else, and specifically not villa communities.
I'm sorry John but that's wrong we have had this service since they were down at medeviel times and another hotel before that on the 192. We will be there next easter and will take pic's as evidence of this.[msnsmile]

In what way do you think it's wrong - I said they pick up from various Kissimmee hotels and that is what you appear to be saying below. What exactly are you planning on taking pictures of and why would you need to?

We do not stay in hotels always in vllas, I can understand you do not what other people reading this getting the wrong idea. Let's stop this right here - I'm not getting personal with you or implying anything. I am just repeating what Dollar themselves have just told me. Nothing more, nothing less.
I'm sure what you are saying is right and have no reason to say otherwise - why would I?
It's actually only in your last post you say they pick up from the villa you were staying in. Up until then how was I supposed to know that and even if I did, we did ask Dollar UK this specific question and they were adament it was only hotels.
Obviously I want to clarify things so we do not mis-advise clients. I have repeated what Dollar UK have told me after they looked into it further and will add what the Kissimmee 192 location say as soon as they open and I can ask them.

Update:
I've not managed to get through to the Kissimmee 192 location as their phone just rings out. I will keep on trying...
In 2001, a car hire company allowed us to pick a vehicle up at Fresno airport and drop it off at San Francisco a week later. Funny thing is, I cannot recall which hire company it was - might have been National. I do remember that the extra charge for this was only $35 or so over the regular rate. That's the only time we tried a different drop off point in the US and so I don't know if we just happened to be lucky.
