The last time I flew this route was with USAirways. We had a really good deal with them and also plenty of flights to choose from.

Love it Ellie!!Always time for a spot of Walmart shopping[msnwink]After our slightly tense drive around Miami, it did get better...while in the departure lounge, thoughts of home were sadly in our minds, and arriving at the airport, Heathrow...hang on Heathrow? We left the car at Gatwick!!![:O][:O]What dippys we were[:P]Flew out of Gatwick to Orlando, drove to Fort Lauderdale and flew out of Miami home, no prob!except we hadn't taken enough notice of where the flights from Miami returned to!!! Doh![msnembarrased]Luckily hubby works close to Heathrow, so he phoned a work colleague, who agreed to be waiting for us at Heathrow, and droves us back to Gatwick for the car!! Then we drove back to Milton Keynes from there!!!
Note to self: MUST PAY MORE ATTENTION TO FLIGHT PLAN[msntongue]
[chatter][chatter][laugh][laugh]He he Caroline.......what are you like

It's not just you Carol Ann - I have just booked flights to Miami for hubby and his mates and very nearly booked them to stay the night at Gatwick.....how popular would I have been???
The guys are planning on spending the night in Miami - we have never stayed there before so wondered if anyone could recommend somewhere to stay? It doesn't have to be the Ritz or anything (I don't want them having too great a time whilst I am here [msncry]), just somewhere clean comfortable and in a nice area (but easy to find from the airport)
Thanks
The Holiday Inn Miami Airport, along Le Jeune Rd, is convenient, and they have a restaurant right at the top of the tower where you can have breakfast. It is also opposite a Bennigans. There is a free shuttle too, and it is very near the car hire pick up.
Opposite there is a Baymont, Embassy Suites and a Red Roof Inn. Try the Hilton Blue Lagoon if you want more facilities, and a great view.
