There was a piece about this on the local TV station.(Brevard county Florida.) All reservations have been honoured by the major companies in Florida but it has been touch and go.
When I collected my car from Alamo(pick your own) at MCO there were very few cars - normally there are lines of them.

They were all sitting outside garages in the storms....so are now in need of repairs..I blame the games room people myself.....LOL!
They are apparently with Floridians who fled the state in rental cars due to the hurricanes and have not returned them yet, also the relief workers helping get the state back in shape are hiring them.
Brizzle.

wot no cars[confused]Hope it gets better before the christmas rush of visitors then[msneek]
We saw this first hand in August. We arrived in Fort Myers tired after our journey and had to wait about 30 minutes for a car to come back and be poorly valeted and thrown at us!! Put it down to the Hurricanes though.

It can be good news for those with reservations . When we went in August there were very few cars left - we had booked the cheapest available as it was just two of us. They then told us to just find the smallest car in the parking lot and we got a nice upgrade to an executive model[msnsmile]
