It depends on what you like doing, if you are going to the theme parks, then it will be busier than you are used to.

May is one of my favourite months , the weather is usually perfect and the crowds are not too big, but then when is Florida NOT perfect ?

The first half of May is good, but it may start getting busier towards the end of the month. A good plan is to leave about 10 days after Easter in April and stay for 3 weeks or more, depending on your itinerary. (Of course, Easter arrives in March in 2005).

We were out at the end of May 04 and it was very hot. Being half term it was also fairly busy. I would think early in May would be quieter, when the schools have gone back after the Easter holidays and before they start their half term breaks.

I think it will be a lovely time to go.

Early May is a really lovely time to visit Florida. When we closed on our villa we were there in early May and it was super. If you can go after Easter and before the May half term you will find it a great time to go, and less busy than if you leave it until the end of May. Fares are cheaper too.

I think May is great, even better if you can miss half term. Much easier to get arround, and the weather is very nice.[msncool]

We haven't been in May yet but do plan to in the not too distant future, as we have heard from amny people that the weather is good, not too hot and a little less wet.[msnsmile2]

We usually go in April or May each year and I just love the weather then. It's usually perfect for me. It's out of the normal school holidays so we find the parks just reasonably populated (but will be busier than Jan/Feb). Going out in May again this year. Can't wait!! [msncool]
