virgin atlantic / holidays ??

Please excuse my ignorance as we are very new to all this but what is the difference between Virgin Atlantic and Virgin Holidays. I noticed this on a past posting and that somebody had stated that one was more expensive than the other !!!

We are looking to save up with a view to going to Disney and are hoping to book a fly drive with Virgin and book our own villa separately.

Which is the best one to book a flydrive with?

I know the Virgin car hire prices are not that competitive. You might be better just getting flights only from them and then doing the car hire seperately.

I would recommend the links at the top of this page for great rates on flights and car hire.

Virgin Holidays sell the whole package, flights, hotel, car etc...
Virgin Atlantic just sell the flights.

Virgin Holidays of course use Virgin Atlantic as their carrier.

The advantage of using Virgin Holidays is that you can book flights with them as part of a holiday package, prior to Virgin releasing the seats for general sale.

I have used Virgin Atlantic and Virgin Holidays Fly Drive, I can tell you that the prices have jumped quite alot for 2005 so I have used the links at the top of the page and still got Virgin Flights and Dollar car but saved a lot!!!![clap]

Yes if you go on V Hols web site and compare dates with V Atlantic web site you will see the date differences[8D]

We did a search for flights for August 2005 on both sites and with VA we could not book any yet but with VH you could. This being because VH know what their allocation of seats will be, so release them earlier than the actual airline.[msnsmile2]
