My partner always uses his blue badge while we're in Florida and finds it great for parking and access at theme parks. Some car rental companies don't charge for two drivers if one driver is disabled and has badge to prove this. Dollar was one of these in the days before we booked Platinum service which provides for two drivers anyway.

If you book the fully inclusive option with Dollar from the link at the top of each forum page, it includes two drivers for free.

Hey Liesa ... like the reply you got.

Obviously George W. has told his 'top people' that he considers the UK another 'state' of the US ..!!!!!!

I would have at least thought 'our Tony' would have held a referendum, first.

WE also have had no problems with the blue badge, it is for our son who is 10.
Deviating a little from the blue badge subject. Went to seaworld Easter 04 mentioned son was disabled and I got in at a reduced price, as a carer. Quite a bit off. Don`t know about universal as we didn`t go this time. It`s worth asking.
