We emailed the Orlando tourist info re badges and they replied saying our gadges were fully recognised by the state of Florida. We had no trouble using ours just had it on the dashboard in full view. When entering the parks you switch on hazard lights and follow the blue line to the disabled areas, we did this without problems. Hope this helps.
