    will blizzard beach be closing this month[:I]

    Blizzard Beach is closed October 24 - November 30, 2004 for its annual refurbishment.

    Looked on disney site last month as we are out there on the 26th of this month and Blizzard Beach will be closed.

    Hello

    According to the Disney website, Blizzard Beach is closed for annual refurbishment from 24th October until 11th December. Typhoon Lagoon is open during this time, but then closes on 12th December for, I guess, about the same length of time as BB.

    thankyou all were flying on the 28th so will have to visit typhoon lagoon that was shut when we travelled four years ago

    My children always preferred Typhoon Lagoon anyway.(Although they insisted on visiting both twice!)

    There is also Wet and Wild,but we have not been to that one for years

    Which ever you go to (Probably all of them)make sure you take plenty of SUNCREAM

    You never seem to feel the sun as much with being in the water!!

    Highest factor and water proof for kids is a must!

    Typhoon Lagoon is certainly not a bad 2nd Option
    We prefer it too! Guess if you are really into Summit Plummet, you miss out a bit[:P]

    We all love the BIG WAVE at Typhoon Lagoon - hope it is open when we go new year or the troops will be V dissappointed
