Went there for the first time yesterday. Lovely place to visist. Very rtanquil with lots of paths to roam around. They have large hut with chairs insiode and a huge window that looks out onto a lake. This was great, saw gaotos large turtles, snapping turtes, huge catfish, lots of birds and a couple of snakes.
This time of yeasr there are not many flowers out but it was still wonderful. Should have some good photos.

Were you there in the afternoon for the carillon recital, Martin?? This is one of our favourite places yet you are the first Floridian ( Oh does that sound good!!) that I have ever met that has been there. None of our neighbours have. Remember the Pinewood mansion is open all over the Xmas season all decked out festively and they have special Xmas music recitals.

Anyone who has mobility problems can hire a motorised vehicle to get you up some of the steepish paths. It's very cheap-something like $8 an hour.
