Publix do rotiserie chicken as well as fried chicken, and will do subs and sncks ready made as well.

As far as I know the Chinese is all about the same. But we have found a reall gone takeway chinese on the US27 next to Pulix round the corner from us on Highlands Reserve

Some of the Chinese restaurants leave a lot to be desired, in fact the only one I have found that I would absolutely rave about is China One located close to Publix in the Championsgate complex. Superb food and service, when we are due out my children count the days to China One instead of the days to our villa.[msncry]

The Chinese restuarants are not very good in general. There is a great takeaway at the Ridgeway Mall, lovely and friendly to. There is a kiosk one in the Mercado but that is nowt to write home about either. The ones on I Drive dont rate high either IMHO of course[sick]

Ming Court on I-drive is described as the "Rolls-Royce of Chinese restaurants" but I have never been there myself and so cannot comment personally. The China Garden Buffet at the Mercado mentioned by CDV is also good. If you are shopping at Florida Mall, you can pop over to the excellent Sizzling Wok across the road if it still exists (there was a management problem a short while ago).

Try Ace Buffet about 2 miles from the jcn of the 27 on the 192 (right hand side) opposite 'Shoppes at Vista Del Lago. Very tasty buffet and they do take away by the pound(weight).

Totally agree with Lesley, China 1 is very good.
We recommend it to all of our guests. You can eat in, or take out and they will even deliver.

One of our guests recently had a birthday meal there and they even provided a cake for them[clap]

The one we like is on the 192, up towards the Clermont turnoff, next to Winn Dixie, very small but the meals are huge, we made the mistake of ordering about 5 different dishes between two of us (thinking it would be the same size as in UK) and they brought them out on steak size platters!

We had to take it home in a doggy bag. It could have lasted ar least three days.

I'm with Lesley, Mike and Michelle - we really like China 1, we've never eaten in but have had delivered meals from them plenty of times - superb food, even my friend who is Chinese likes their food.

Have to agree China 1 for take away. We had food delivered twice when we stayed on Tuscan Ridge last November and both times I couldn't believe how fast they were. They were recommended by the villa owners who had left us a take away menu in the kitchen drawer, the food was great. Does anyone know how far they will deliver as we have now bought on High Grove and are worried we might be out of their delivery area [msnsad]
