    Gatwick shops

Can anyone tell me what time the shops at Gatwick start to open? I'm sure the duty free is open most of the time, but are the other shops shut at 8.00am?

    Thanks!

I think you mean 8PM don't you? We have been to Gatwick for later flights and as far as I can recall, most duty free shops were open. Some do shut for the evening, but whether this is due to a specific timed closure or shortage of staff, I don't know.

Nope 8am - We fly at 9.30am on Saturday, and I am sure that when we had an earlyish flight before, many of the shops, i.e. Next etc, didn't start opening until 9.30 - 10.00am......... We are going from south terminal. Thanks!

Oh, sorry! In that case, I don't know the answer since I have never been to Gatwick for an early flight.

Thanks Ceri! I do hope they are, as hubby wants some shoes from Next, and as we will probably be on our way to the gate from 8.30am, I hope it's open!

Personally I would wait til you get out to Florida and by them in the designer outlet. They do have a better choice as well.

I must agree with CERI, you would be better off waiting and getting them in Florida. You'll have more choice and save money, especially if you go somewhere like BETZ Outlets at the end of International Drive. Have a great time and great shopping.

I have to agree too, wait and buy some things in Florida. Premium outlets are quite good along with Belz and there is a good shoe place at Lake Buena Vista Factory outlets plus not forgetting all the shopping malls too. Bass and Ralph Lauren at Premium seem to have good shoes for both men and women.

    Happy shopping
